Description

Four Stack III

Wireless Stack Match System

Four Stack III is a product that incorporates an impedance matching to use up to four antennas in parallel and a controller for up to two rotators. Another innovation is the connection system between the control module and the antenna switching module. This system uses the RF cable to send the commands and power to the antenna switch module and it transfers the rotator commands to the rotator power module.

The Four Stack III has four modules

1- Command Module:

This module has the buttons for switching the antennas, the input of the SEND command to choose the set of antennas for  transmission, and the rotator control system that consists of an encoder and a three-digit display.

2- Modulator Module:

This module inserts the commands coming from the control module into the RF cable coming from the Linear Amplifier and sends them to the antenna switch module

3- Antenna Switch Module:

This module, which is normally installed in the tower next to the antennas, receives the RF cable from the modulator module that brings, in addition to the RF, the power supply (12VDC) and all the commands for activating the antennas and rotators.

4- Rotor Feed Module:

This module is connected to an external power source (110 Vac or 220 Vac) and to the antenna switch module from where it receives the commands to drive the rotators. It must be mounted close to the antenna switch module. Modules 3 and 4 can be supplied mounted in a single cabinet.

Four Stack III offers the following advantages:

1- Eliminates the control cables of the Stack and considerably reduces the length of the control cables for the rotators.

2- Allows a single Stack Controller to command any of the Stacks Switch available at the Station without having to add any extra equipment or control software or any special command.
